I loved Sydney so much I was hesitant to leave to Melbourne. I made great friends there, got used to the environment and fell in love with the City.
However, eventually I got to Melbourne...and it stole my heart. It has a very European vibe with a modern twist. I love how artsy it is and how careless and chill people on the street seem to be. The food is unbelievably good and the coffee? I have no words.
The course started on Monday & I was nervous. What would they think of me? Will I make friends like I did in Sydney? Will they love the class? It's hard to step outside your zone (usually my studio in Sherman Oaks, Ca.) and step into a new environment with no expectations. First of all the collaborative design in the space was just stunning. Effortless, clean & beautiful. Styled by Coco designed the place with custom made mirrors for me and The Bouquets of Ascha Jolie brought it all to life. Talk about effort! They made the already beautiful photography studio (L1Studios) into a glamorous space.
Deco aside, the girls stole my heart, once again. I met some of the most sweetest, nicest women that I'll never forget. They made me feel like I made such a difference in their lives but they have no idea how they've changed mine. Like I told them, I wouldn't be here in Melbourne, if it wasn't for them. I wouldn't have had the opportunity to come here if there was no demand for it. Never would I have dreamed to be in Australia to teach classes, so with that said, I am forever thankful and blessed. If you ladies are reading this, thank you!
I will find a reason to come back for one reason or another. I love it here and I don't want to leave!! Till next time, see you Melbourne!
