The absolute most beautiful city in the world. I forgot how much I loved this place. I do wish I had an extra couple days to enjoy my stay but the main reason for this trip was for my seminar hosted by MakeUpForever. The first day of registration got filled up so quickly that I had to add a second day. I had amazing sponsors for my goodie bags: Dose of Colors, Vera Mona, Butter London, Japonesque, Naimies, MakeupForever, Tarte Cosmetics, Skindinavia, Lise Watier, Morphe Brushes & last but not least, NYX Cosmetics. I know...I wanted to steal a bag myself. JK!...no really. So for 2 days, I was at boutique in downtown NY teaching my special tips & tricks to my fans and prospective artists. I met some of the most sweetest students and honestly had such an amazing time. I have to thank Karen and all the employees at MakeUpForever in downtown! So sweet and helpful, I am forever thankful. I LOVE you New Yorkers!!!
I hope to be back soon...in the meantime, you can continue to learn with my through my live channel www.MakeUpbyLilitLIVE.com where I am continuously teaching something new and exciting several times a month. I actually filmed a LIVE tutorial at the MakeUpForever boutique in NY while I was out there. I didn't want to wait until I got back to LA, so we made it happen! It was a great hit and the viewers loved it. I did a Smokey Eye tutorial and demonstrated how to customize to your eyes. If you aren't a member yet, subscribe now so you don't miss too much! You will learn so much, you will watch it over and over! :)
I stayed at the 6 Columbus hotel, which is a small boutique like hotel. It was edgy yet classy, customer service was amazing and the area was perfect...right in front of Central Park! Highly highly recommend; unless you're looking for huge rooms...which I spent 2 minutes in & slept.
While I was out there, I also hooked up with this amazing photographer Marcelo Cantu to shoot for my cosmetics line that will be launching end of December. So so excited...but I will save that for a different post! I should've really blogged about this 2 weeks ago but it's been an insane few weeks since I've gotten back. But better late than never huh? I just wanted to share my experience with you guys and thank you for following my journey. You guys are the best! <3
