As January 1st is around the corner, I can't help but be a little cliche and get in the hype of the "New Year, New You" lingo! But if you really do something about it, and take that mindset and turn it into an actuality, then we can talk about making that cliche a total reality.
Every single day has become such a rush in most of our lives; we often forget so much. We forget to devote any time to ourselves while we are in the mist of circling around life but even so, never neglect yourself. I encourage everyone to stay as refreshed as possible as the New Year arrives; it is the biggest gift you can give yourself in creating the 'New You.'
When I speak about staying refreshed, I'm not saying be completely cliche and go on a health binge and run to buy a new pair of $100 yoga pants and gulp green juices everyday for a week....and then stop. Because we all know how that goes! You're in the vibe for 7 days and then you're approaching mid-January and you're over it. That's exactly why I firmly believe that a healthy mind, a healthy inner core influences a positive life, and refreshing yourself will help in doing so. If your insides feel good, your outsides will look even better and your entire life will sparkle just a little brighter.
By becoming a new 'refreshed' you, I'm encouraging everyone to devote a moment more to themselves and really focus on their own mind, body and soul. Refreshing your life is a vast umbrella to look at that houses so many various aspects, it could be a positive mental drive, proper eating habits, a strong physical well-being, to being able to divorce fears, to exploring a new branch of life, etc...... A 'New You' is whatever you make of it.
I think a new wind is a fantastic thing. It gives you the chance to shed old skin and step into a new layer til you are ready to keep moving forth. With the New Year just days away, I want you all to set new goals -something as simple as trying something new every month! It can be as little as going out of your norm and seeking out a new product for your face, to as big as a weekend getaway to somewhere you never been, and something in between, like taking a dance class! The whole point behind setting a goal and sticking to it is that it gives you a sense of direction. When you know you have a priority every month, it keeps you more disciplined and at the same times refreshes your 'regular' regimen.
This New Year I want all of you to do one thing for me and that's REFRESH yourselves! Yes, it is a New Year and it can be a New You! Relish your life with a little dazzle of refreshment, it can and will take you a long way! 2015 has its arms wide open for you and all the positive changes you're ready to make!
