I have been meaning to post about ColourPop Cosmetics for a while now. I was holding back because I wanted to try literally every product and color they have before I do. And two, I don't even know where to begin! As you may have noticed on Instagram, I have been obsessing over their lip products. Every single shade is perfection. I mean yes, the blues and the greens are a bit extreme for my taste...but even then, they're such beautiful blue's and green's; if you are into those type of colors of course. They have both lipsticks and lip stains. They also have eyeshadows and blushes which I've reviewed below as well.
Their Lippie Stix are soft, long lasting, not too creamy, not too oily, not too dry...just perfect. I actually recently got a collection from them that had a matching lip liner to every Lippie Stix color. I can't tell you how easy this makes it for me at work! My clients are absolutely loving it. Current must haves: Oh Snap, Contempo and Grundge. Best part: $5!!!
And then of course they have their Ultra Matte Lip Stains. The colors are sheer perfection; however, not sheer. They are matte and one layer is really all you need. Generally, the less you layer, the less drying stains will be. Beeper (a very cool mauve) and Kapow (greyish purple) are my current favorites. Although I now see on their website, they have 5 new colors coming out, woo hoo! Does anyone else get this excited over lip products or do I need help? :/ BEST PART: $6!!!
Now, onto their Eyeshadows! Or should I call them eye butters? I have never felt eyeshadow texture like the ColourPop eyeshadows. You really won't know what I mean until you touch it. Your finger will literally dip into it like butter if you press hard enough. But the color payoff...that's whats most important. Instead of explaining the payoff, just check out the swatches and judge for yourself! I have been using it all weekend on my clients and I am addicted. BEST PART: $5!!!
Forever Freshman Collection...
Along with their eyeshadows, they have super pigmented beautiful Blushes. Birthday Suit & Between the Sheets are my current favorites. I use a fluffy brush because a little bit goes a long way! I dust it on the apples of the cheeks for a hint of color and it just pops! BEST PART: $8!!!
For those of you who want to try out more than one lip color or more than one eyeshadow, I highly recommend their collections. I'd stock up for gifts if I were you ;) ColourPop lives true to their name. Thumbs up from me!
