With delay, I'd like to introduce you to the new Dandelion cream collection Benefit just launched earlier this month. Adding to one of their original best selling powder blush, Dandelion, they have expanded to a cream blush and a highlighter. Although cream products are best used in the summer because of the dry weather (its more moisturizing than powder, obvi.), I love it for summer as well when trying to achieve that natural glow. When using cream products, try to avoid setting it in with powders because it takes away from that glow effect. However, if you do have oily skin, you can slightly set it in with some loose powder, using a fluffy brush.
Here is the original Dandelion Powder Blush. Perfect for light to medium skin tones, as it is a softer pink vs. a bright pink that generally looks better on darker skins. I love that its build-able. Retails for $29.
And here it is...the Dandelion Dew Cream Blush! Not only is the product beautiful...can we talk about the packaging? The entire collection along with the "dew" collection package is just so adorable. I feel the liquid is a little bit more pigmented than their powder blush, so medium to tan skin tones can definitely benefit from this as well. Best way to use this (in my recommendation) would be with a damp beauty blender. Pump 1 or 2 drops on the back of your hand and use the back of your beauty blender and dab into the apple of your cheeks and blend upward towards your hair line. The key to using cream products, just like anything else, is layering! It sets into a satin-matte finish and retails for $28.
Introducing, Shy Beam Liquid Highlighter...the newest addition to their Beam collection. It was so hard to capture this shade in the right light because its such a light color. And me being the whitest I have ever been!...it's barely showing up on my hand lol. But when put on the face with a fresh base first, it'll make the high points of your cheeks pop with a natural brightness/lift. It has radiance (a subtle glow) but no frost or shimmer. In combination with the Dandelion cream blush...it's a beauty together! Again, I recommend this for lighter to medium skin tones. If you are medium to tan....go for Sun Beam instead. Retails for $26.
