Seriously, one of the sweetest girls I've met! Adorable, humble, smart & beautiful with the most gorgeous smile! It was such a pleasure working with her...I have made a new friend :) . Gayana's Sweet 16 is coming up, so she wanted some professional shots to capture the time. Nare was able to put together the perfect outfit for her! Girly, cute & fun for a 16 year old. Lara C Kay gave her big curls that stayed up all day...thank you Lara! As for her make up, we did two looks, but we only changed her lipstick and added some dramatic lashes (custom made by me) to play up the look. For her foundation, of course I used my favorite ERA Classified. For her eyes, I used MAC shadows: Carbon, Wedge, Cork & Brule. Eyeliner is the Black Gel from Bobbi Brown. Eyebrows have been filled in very little with Bobbi Brown Smoke shadow. Her cheeks are contoured with my favorite Smashbox Contour palette. Blush is Style by MAC. Lipstick for the first look is Russian Red and Red lipliner from Mac (a lot of Mac this time around!). The lipstick for the second look is my ultimate favorite Morange by Mac with a little bit of Soul lip gloss by Illamasqua. Hope you all liked the look! Please feel free to leave questions, comments or feedback. Thank you! :)

Every time I do a new shoot, I think to myself "THIS is one of my favorites by far!" But seriously, THIS is one of my favorites by far, haha! I love to create looks that are over-the-top, but not so much where you can't wear the look out. Tatev has the perfect face for this look; her big green eyes, the blonde hair and the facial structure fitted the image perfectly (and of course she was able to pull it off so well!) Lara C Kay did an AMAZING job on both her hair and Nare's as well and exactly how we imagined it to be. Thank you Lara! I wanted to list the products I used for any of you who want to re-create the look. If I am missing anything, feel free to ask away! (I blank out sometimes :/ ) So, for her face, of course I used my favorite foundation ERA Classified in both Y3 and Y5 and the Laura Mercier concealer in SC-2 for her under eyes. I have set in her make up with MakeUpForever HD loose powder. Her eyebrows are filled in with a Blonde pencil by LeFemme and filled in with Cork by MAC. The fun part, EYES!: The base eyeshadow I used is YDK from Urban Decay and Carbon and Wedge in the crease by MAC. I have used a goldish glitter by MakeUpForever on top of the base color. Unfortunately, they do not label their products with names and in this case, nor a number. But all their glitters are beautiful! Just make sure you use a seal. Bobbi Brown black gel liner was used to line the upper lashline and to smudge out the corners. Her top lashes are #48 (Beauty Mark, Glendale) and the bottom lashes are from Naimie's...unfortunately, I do not know the number, but they have only one of this kind if you skim through their lashes. I added crystal studs to the end of the bottom lashes to add flare to the "circus" theme. Her inner bottom line is penciled in with a white eyeliner from MakeUpForerver. As for her cheeks, I have contoured it with the Smashbox Contour palette and Illamasqua blushes in both Kiss and Sin. I have lined her lips with Vino by Mac and used 2 different shades of lipsticks to give it some dimension. The outter corners are Gareth Pugh and Russian Red on the inside, both by MAC. I THINK that's about it...what a long list! lol. Let me know what your thoughts are on the look. Hope you enjoyed it <3

Hey Fans! Just want to start off by saying Thank You all for the endless support in my work. Your appreciation does not go unnoticed and instead, is my motivation. I am super excited to update you on the recent photoshoot I did with my girl Nare. We had done a shoot with her a few years ago (with the bow and the donuts, etc.) which was BEAUTIFUL, but it was a more "cute" look. This time we wanted to go with something more mature and sexy. I am in love with the pictures (I didn't know which one to choose!) Nare has beautiful goldish brown hair, so naturally we went with a color that would compliment her skin and hair: Gold! Many of you have been asking on facebook and instagram what I have used on her face, so thought it would be easier to post it here for everyone to see. On her eyes, all the colors are from the Naked2 palette from Urban Decay and her lashes were handmade by me. On her cheeks I used Margin and Gold Deposit by MAC with the gold dust on top from Tarina Tarantino. On her lips I have used Vegas Volt by MAC in the photos with the bright lipstick, and Peachstock by MAC for the nude lips. On her face, I have used ERA Classified foundation with Laura Mercier concealer. I hope you guys enjoyed the photoshoot as much as I loved doing it! How hot does she look?! Really! ;)

A few weeks ago, my sister came over after work to just hang out at my house. Out of boredom, we decided "Let's do a photoshoot!" Usually...planning these shoots take a lot of planning. I think of a look, consult with the model and the photographer, coordinate a common time, think of a location, etc. This shoot had none of these plans, but we did it anyway. It was supposed to be just for fun, but ended up being one of my favorite shoots! The bow on her hair is actually a belt from H&M (therefore so big), but it was perfect on the hair for a fashion shoot. We used my garage for the black wall and the lighting. She was the perfect model for this dramatic look and was comfortable in front of the camera (maybe because I was shooting?). I have had some experience with photography, but nothing crazy. But I do LOVE to shoot because I capture the specific angles that I want and need for my portfolio. I think I did a pretty good job though, I must say! :) As for her make up, I used Giorgio Armani lasting silk UV foundation in 6.5. For the eyes, I used the Make Up Forever eyeshadows (my new obsession), feather eyelashes for fullness on top and single bottom lashes. For eyeliners, I used InnerRim Highlight eyeliner from Smashbox and Bobbi Brown black gel eyeliner on top. I used the 3D pink blush from Benefit and Pink Friday limited edition lipstick by MAC. If you guys have any specific how-to questions for it, please let me know! Thank you for all the continued love and support. Hope you guys enjoyed it!

Hi Guys! Hope everyone staying dry and safe under this horrible LA weather! So a few weeks ago, Sam and I did a few more photoshoots that were long overdue! I loved my vacation, but I couldn't wait to get back and get started on my ideas. In fact, I did a photoshoot with my cousin in Belgium while I was out there, which is not quite ready...so that will be coming soon! I wanted to do something more creative and dramatic this time. When I first started with these shoots, my goal was to do make-ups that were not your typical looks which as youve seen, has turned out amazing. I wanted to bring that back this time around. The image with the feather lashes and the black lipstick was inspired by crows...of course, a prettier version. I fell in love with the lashes when I first saw them and couldn't wait to use them! I used black rhinestones on the black lipstick so it doesn't give a gothic look (which was not what I wanted). Anna was perfect for this look as she has strong features and brought to the picture what we needed. On the other hand, Elizabeth has a classic beauty, so I concentrated on a pearl theme for her as pearls never go out of style. I used pearls on her eyes, along with black eyeliner and red lipstick...which was a perfect look for her floral 50's dress. And her hair...well, itspeaks for itself! My third model, Anna has very soft features, so we kept a more subtle image for her. She has the most amazing greenish-yellow eyes. So naturally...I used purple to line underneath her eyes and smoked out the top of her eyes with a hunter green to make the color pop out more. I hope you guys enjoyed them! Special thanks to Sam K. for the amazing photography, as always. Stay tuned for more to come...

I've started a new project with Sam K. Photography. You will see his work on my Portfolio page and my fan page on facebook as well. Sam K. came to me a few months ago with a few ideas he had in mind and after seeing his work, I couldn't wait to get started. Sam's vision and talent helped create the perfect picture imagined. I love what he has done with the photos! What do you guys think? We had a 40's - 50's theme in mind with Sabrina and Hrush (with the old style hair and the red lipsticks); except, the era was modernized. The models we chose for this look were perfect. Sabrina's style and personality is very sexy and unique, while Hrush has the sultry eyes and the strong personality. These classic looks can be recreated today and will still look amazing. The look we put together for Liliya (dark eyes and nude lips) was to create a delicate yet sexy image, which was true to her personality as well. All the hair was done by my mom, the make-up by me and the photography, of course, by Sam K. All the amazing hair pieces are provided by Chic Sparkles (more photos of her items will be posted soon) .Become a fan of Sam K. Foto and Chic Sparkles you will see more of their work. If you would like a photoshoot put together for you, with any ideas you have, Sam K. and I have great package prices. I hope you guys enjoy the pics as much as we liked putting it together. There will be more photoshoots coming soon. Stay tuned!

Hey Girls! I'd like to present my latest photoshoot, "the doll." My model Nare has a babyface with features of a porcelain doll, so I thought she would be perfect for the shoot. I have used lashes both on the top and bottom of her eyes to open her eyes along with white eyeliner on the inside. The dark pink lips goes perfect with her fair face and beautiful long black hair. I actually used a hot pink eyeshadow for her cheeks to really give it some color and make it pop. Also, I found the hot pink compliments the green bow in her hair perfectly... sometimes it's great to use opposing colors and not be so matchy-matchy. I loved this photoshoot as Nare was able to promote variety in every image and the pictures came out exactly how I wanted. I hope you guys enjoy them! :)

Hi Girls! I know it has been forever since my last blog...sorry - life takes over! Hope you are all doing well. I want to update you on the last photoshoot I did with Aqiyl photography at the Yanai Van hair salon in Beverly Shoot. Yanai Van has been awarded curl expert and has won an award for his curl products. He really does some wonders with curls! The photoshoot was basically for his website. You can see this work along with info on his salon and work at www.YanaiVan.com. Aqiyl is a photographer who has worked around the world and has done some amazing photos! So when I was asked to do this shoot, of course I was more than happy to. He did a few before/after shots that I know some of you have been suggesting I post up. We started the shoot with a very natural look and then bumped it up to a more evening effect. I did a more cat eye look on Amanda, which is the more blonder one, because of the shape of her eyes. As for Justine, with the darker hair, I did the smokey all over her lid because she has a smaller lid to work with. When you have the type of lid that folds over and your eye make up disappears, smoking out your whole eye is a better idea. Overall, the shoot was a lot of fun. Hope you guys enjoyed it and if you have any other questions regarding it, please let me know. Thanks!

Hey Girls! I am very excited to present my first Bridal Photoshoot. I wanted to create a modern day bride that still has that elegant and classy look. The rhinestones on her body express an artistic and unique edge while her hair and make up express a more soft and simple look. I lined the inside of her eyes white to widen it and darkened the other side to emphasize the shape. I paled out her lips in order for her eyes to stand out more. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

Hi All, hope everyone had a good weekend! I am very excited about the photoshoots Rosie and I did last weekend. Please see all new and updated pics at the bottom of My Portfolio page. The first look which I call the "swan" look was inspired from the simple feathers on her face. My model has very unique almond shaped eyes, so it was perfect for the look I wanted. I used a lot of white around her eyes, added a hint of orange and smoked the corners with black to give it that "swan" look. Her look is already very delicate and classy, so the pictures came out exactly how I wanted. As for the "barbie" look, I went for a more fun, extraordinary look that is beyond our average scope of make up. My model for this shoot has a very classic look but a very animated personality, so this shoot was perfect for her. The colorful vibrant look gives the barbie effect while her big n sexy hair gives it the vogue edge. This was definitely one of the more fun shoots I've done! Hope you guys enjoy them. Comments and Feedback are welcome :)
